Coffee
The taste of a refreshing cup of coffee depends on the quality of the bean. And we have made it our duty to bring quality, sweet coffee beans from the fertile grounds of South America. Any coffee expert will tell you that the sweetest of coffee comes from this region, and as a result, we at Kamsource have made it an important point of duty to export quality coffee beans from Colombia, Brazil, and Costa Rica to your doorstep.
We discover the incredible coffees of the world and bring them to you at their fullest potential to be transformed into that extraordinary taste that offers something better to its drinker. We ensure all our coffee beans pass all quality control parameters of size, shape, and color.
Our coffee beans are grown, harvested, and processed in the most sustainable and optimal way possible. The knowledge involved in rowing, harvesting, and processing the coffee beans by the locals has been passed down from generation to generation within the Latin American
community.
After the coffee is ripe and has turned bright red, the beans are sorted and cleaned by flotation to separate unripe, overripe, and damaged cherries and remove dirt, twigs, and leaves. Then they are processed and dried to a moisture level of about 11% (the best moisture content for coffee beans, according to the international trade center).
The beans are then sorted by weight and size, fermented by natural enzymes for up to 48 hr to remove the mucilage, rinsed, and dried. In the end, you have rich, natural coffee beans that can be processed in roatiseries to brew the sweetest of cups and coffee blends.
We are proud to bring high-quality coffees to roatiseries all around the world, and through it all, our love of the local cultures and communities remains as strong as ever.
Cocoa
If your question is a source for quality cocoa beans for your manufacturing processes, Kamsource is the answer. Our cocoa beans are amongst the best ever harvested and processed and can be used in the production of a variety of cocoa-based products.
We supply our Cocoa Beans from Ecuador, Colombia, and West Africa to clients all around the world. The cocoa harvest is spread over several months, usually with a major peak and a minor peak of pod ripeness/harvesting. After inspecting and conducting the necessary tests to ensure compliance with international standards and regulatory requirements, the cocoa beans cleaning process takes place.
It is critical that chocolate flavour is developed through correct fermentation of the wet beans by the grower and after fermentation, the moisture content of the beans needs to be reduced from 55% to 7.5% – an appropriate moisture content for secure storage of cocoa for a couple of months in the tropics.
Whether sourced from South America or West Africa, we make sure that the Cocoa Beans we source are of the highest quality and dried to the proper levels.
